When I sync my Independent Reserve account using my API key/secret, I see a lot of "Tax" transactions next to my trades.
These "Taxes" should be added to the trading fee instead, increasing the cost basis of the acquired asset.
Expected solution
I want to be able to choose if I want GST added to the other trading fees as part of the trade or if I want it listed separate as
Tax
transaction
Workaround:
I need to:
  • Split the trade
  • Change the tag from "Tax" to "Cost"
  • Merge all "Cost" transactions together
  • Merge back the trade (deposit, withdrawal and cost)
