There’s an upcoming API update for a wallet where I have hundreds of transactions, many of which include manual edits. I’m concerned that rebuilding the account from scratch using the new API could introduce issues that would take days to fix.

What I’m proposing instead is the ability to link the balance of the new‑API wallet to the previous wallet (old API), so the system can maintain continuity and avoid balance‑warning errors. From my perspective, this is a straightforward feature to implement, and I’m confident I could integrate it directly into your ETL process. It would save users a significant amount of time and frustration.
