I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the amount of manual correction required when using Koinly for Solana-based cryptocurrency transactions. Despite the service's claim to save users time on tax preparation, I have spent hours rectifying discrepancies that could be easily resolved with a more robust integration, specifically with Solscan. I am currently dealing with over 30 pages of errors that require manual correction.
The persistent "No market price found" errors and inaccurate transaction data have forced me to manually research and input data for numerous transactions. This process is excessively time-consuming and negates the core benefit Koinly is supposed to provide.
Specifically, the data source Koinly is currently utilizing is inadequate and unreliable for Solana transactions. I have consistently found the accurate information and necessary data on Solscan, which highlights the problem. The fact that I am able to find the correct data on Solscan, but Koinly can not, is unacceptable. On top of this, having to calculate the correct data, is also too much work for a paid service.
Given the significant amount of user correction required, and the sheer volume of errors I am having to correct, I believe Koinly's current pricing is unjustified for Solana users. The service is charging a premium for a product that requires extensive manual input to be accurate.
I urge Koinly to prioritize improving its Solana integration, specifically by replacing or supplementing its current data source with Solscan. This would significantly enhance accuracy and save users valuable time.
BTW, I'm just getting started. I pray this doesn't get worse.
I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this issue."
