Save Custom Dates on Dashboard

When selecting a custom date range for the dashboard graph/info, ensure that it is saved so the dashboard consistently displays the selected calendar year and does not reset to the current year

Why does dashboard reset to the current annual year? I select current tax year and every time i leave the page and come back into the dashboard it resent to the current calendar year. this never use to happen
