Static IP (to set up IP whitelisting for API keys)
P

I'd much prefer to bind my API keys to an IP address to increase security. As a crypto accountancy company, not having this feature implemented seems crazy.

Very annoying and sometimes it becomes a costly mistake of losing transactions as most exchanges delete the transaction history older than 3 months. If by chance we forget to update the api key, which can happen easily for the most. Please implement this feature.

Can we get this implemented even Gemini is going API whitelist
B
Bright Antelope
This is needed on the Crypto.com Exchange to prevent regular shut downs of the API.

Koinly come on now - this is embarrassing. Please implement the basic feature without further delay.

This seems to have gone completely quite. Honestly, this is like the simplest request of all features. Static IP addresses to whitelist, so API keys don't expire every 3 months

Semantic Canid
Hi, try to deal with several exchanges that expire the API keys each 3 months, it is insane!!!

Allow IP whitelisting
Jack
I want Koinly to provide us with a list of IPs used to sync my wallets. That way, I'll be able to restrict the API keys created for my exchanges to only allow those IPs, which will provide better security.

It's really unnecessary since all of these coin tracking softwares typically use read only anyway with the API connections. And you should be explicitly setting your exchange API keys up yourself and never assigning withdraw and trade permissions.

Sunglow Porpoise yes but it's not only a trading concern, it's a matter of privacy. We want to minimize the risk of people reading what you have first, to then target you. Whitelisting method is basic cybersecurity 101.
