CEX.io API Error: Access denied: Invalid API key

When I try to sync my CEX.io account with Koinly, I get an error:
Access denied: Invalid API key
And no transactions get synced.
CEX.io API key now contains a "name" field - I tried both putting this as "User ID" and my actual User ID (from the profile) but both result in the same error.
Workaround
I need to use CSV files to import my data instead

Cex.io has two separate portals:
- Cex.io Wallet (this is what our integration currently supports)
- Cex.io Spot Trading (formerly Cex.io Pro) - a separate trading platform available on trade.cex.io
If you didn't trade on trade.cex.io, then you should be creating the key on your user profile, not on trade.cex.io
Spot Trading has a separate API and requires a new integration with Koinly (as a separate wallet). We would like to add it, but for that we will need some testing data. If you used Cex.io

(available on trade.cex.io) please contact our support team - be sure that you:- Created a key on trade.cex.io and added it to Koinly (no matter the error)
- You have traded on trade.cex.io and have transfers/trading history there

I have activated my new key in accordance to the official guide
- Read-only access, no IP whitelist, Key is activated.
As CEX had upgraded their APIs in Jan 2024, backward-incompatible with the old one.
Both documentation pages are finally up-to-date and contain identical instructions.
I have 2 keys added right now:
1) Old one, status was Synced but 0 transactions had been loaded.
This API is now deprecated. Latest refresh results in Access denied: Invalid API key
2) New one, Access denied: Invalid API key
As you may notice, new API does not require User id anymore, and there's a different API endpoint for it.
That is the reason auth is failing. The key itself is correct nonetheless.
