Canada, UK: Transfer fees realize gains even with "Realize gains on transfer fees" OFF

I do not have the toggle "Realize gains on transfer fees" in my Settings. I use the Canadian ("Adjusted Cost Basis/Canada") or UK ("Sharepooling") cost basis method
Workaround
Edit every transfer and change the worth to match the cost basis
