Hi team,
Crypto.com launched their EUR Cash Yield program in Europe in April 2026. It's a native in-app product where users transfer EUR from their fiat account into a yield-bearing Cash Yield account. The underlying assets are managed by Fidelity International.
The problem:
When I import my Crypto.com App CSV, transfers between my EUR Account and EUR Cash Yield fail because Koinly doesn't recognize the underlying fund identifier. These show as broken trades with "Currency not found" errors.
What these transactions actually are:
April 9: EUR Account → EUR Cash Yield (700 EUR)
April 15: EUR Cash Yield → EUR Account (700 EUR)
These are internal EUR-to-EUR transfers inside the Crypto.com App between a cash account and a yield product. There is no crypto involved, no taxable event, and no disposal — just moving EUR between two fiat sub-accounts.
Why this matters:
This isn't an obscure third-party product. It's a major new feature from one of the world's largest crypto platforms, specifically for European users. The importer should handle it gracefully.
What I expect:
Koinly should either:
Treat these as internal fiat transfers (no tax impact), or
Allow mapping the underlying fund to a custom currency so the rows import cleanly, or
Skip the unrecognized identifier but still record the EUR movement.
Right now the rows error out and leave phantom issues in my ledger.
Thanks.
