file 8949 will not open

the file in question is in a zip file that contains 3 files, which i can open two of them, but the one I need the actual main tax form is empty 1kb

Looks like there's an issue with generating 8949 if there were no disposals in a year (as there's nothing to add to 8949).
While we are looking into it so the report generates an empty form instead, it's worth checking if the data added is correct (e.g. if you really didn't have any sales in the year). Possibly you didn't yet import all your data.
