Tax Reports page: Did not find any wallets with issues (try deleting cache?)
Jack
On the Tax Reports page I can see a "Review Needed" section and there's a message:
Did not find any wallets with issues (try deleting cache?)
Deleting browser cache and restarting gains
does not help
Solution
This error is usually caused by one of the two:
- "Missing purchase history" warning on untracked tokens or implausible trade
- Implausible transfer (merged a withdrawal that happens afterthe deposit)
- Overmerged trades (when there are trades in opposite direction inbetween merged trades)
Ad 1 - Can be found by generating a "Capital gains" report for the year.
Ad 2 - Not easy to find, usually need to browse through transfers and the "Ledger" tab to see where timestamps don't match
Ad 3- Similarly to (2), requires checking Ledger tab for trades and splitting the ones that are "overmerged"

Once missing purchase price warnings have been cleared, the message "Did not find any wallets with issues (try deleting cache?)" on the Reports page remains. Further troubleshooting requires finding deposit/withdrawals with implausible dates by inspection. This is not practical for thousands of transactions. Koinly must have detected one or more problems to display the error message so this information should be surfaced. Failing that, auto-identify transfers with implausible dates to narrow down the problem space.

Describe the problem:
When reviewing the tax report I get “Did not find any wallets with issues (try deleting cache?)”. I’m not sure why not finding issues would indicate “Review needed”. Can anyone provide more details as to why I am seeing this “error”?
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Unknown (after add Polkadot Wallet)
How did you import data into this wallet?
Mix of sync for wallets with this capability and csv imports for those that do not.
What have you tried to fix this so far?
Searched forums and google for this “error” message with no relevant results. Does Koinly have documentation to support their very brief error messages like this? I.e. what causes a particular error message and how to resolve it?
